Pompom Paris opened up shop on the shores of St Barth as Lola Rykiel, the granddaughter of the late designer Sonia Rykiel, bought in Parisian sporty chic to the Rosewood Le Guanahani Hotel, a beach haven that always stayed true to subliminal style and chic creativity.

Bringing in a fresh wave of Parisian fashion to the newly opened resort, the concept pays homage to the island’s French roots. The pop-up boutique opened on January 24th for a three-month run and will offer a line of custom-tailored items that encapsulate the vibrant energy and unique culture of St. Barth.

Joie de vivre, the ultimate French expression describes the fashion-forward activation that underscores Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth, ‘A Sense of Place’ philosophy, wherein the exclusive ethos of destination is woven into the identity of the property.

Lola Rykiel, French designer and founder of Pompom Paris launched the brand in 2019 as a collection of chic leisurewear, inspired by her dancing background and symbolic of the ‘behind-the-scenes’ attire. The ‘Pompom Girl’ style is the very essence of French fashion – a refined look that appears elegantly effortless.

Rykiel’s capsule collection includes free-flowing, comfortable pieces that range from strass crystal-embellished pullovers, luxe velour tracksuits, yoga-wear, and a remarkable curated tee that reads ‘MISS SAINT BARTH’ in Pompom Paris’ emblematic font.
